This compilation / mixtape is a collective group effort of 7 brothers in Christ.
They are not only music makers, but husbands and fathers. Join them as they journey down memory lane and reflect their own personal experiences and confess their very own sin through music and song. As they grow closer to God, witness them be the anchors in their family's legacy, and begin to hold solid ground for the building they begin to construct with their lives and actions.
AnchorMEN is more than just a Hip-Hop group. It is a movement dedicated to promoting the passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ. We desire to be and raise up strong godly men who, by the grace of God, exhibit the characteristics of our creator.
Our music is designed to reflect these attributes: Love, humility, forgiveness, righteousness, meekness, and holiness.
Just as Christ is our anchor, we intend to strive to emulate our Lord and savior by being strong and dependable husbands, fathers, and mentors.

Hit the road and play your role
Don't ever let go. If we fail to stumble

Hold on and be strong. Allow the word in you grow
and reap what you sow. Here we go.

It's the good word the good news the gospel
I know with God. All things are possible
He is able to to turn the table on everything
So take your sword that's the good book and sing
Praises to the LORD for sharing His story
for his glory alone. You're apart giving glory

This is the challenge. I offer up to you
What you make of it. Is all up to you

2. You will be challenged to pray
with a different person at work or school each day
I know sometimes when it comes to prayer
People freak out and they get a little weird
Have no fear. Because the spirit is here
There you can have faith to make it all clear
When you cross this bridge let The Holy Spirit steer
That's when you can hear the voice of God crystal clear

Some of your peers. Yeah they might stare
But you offer them a ladder when they get up on a chair
Most people sit there as Christians we climb
Ain't no mountain high enough for the love we find
Not only that but we share this love too
If they can only see why pray is for truth
God open up their eyes open up their minds
Open up their hearts allow the prayers inside
Before our demise we can never despise
We belong to God. So let's pray till the son rise

3. Find an accountability partner and get involved
and serve at your local church. No prob.
If you surround yourself with godly men

With a servant's heart you will grow closer
To your savior and his disciples. Not a poser
Jesus is the poster child of a child of God
Be more like him. Serve your community it's our job

It's our calling too. Let's go do what Christians do
Because if we are sanctified. Then we remain true.
