acquitted, declared righteous in His eyes

Therefore, there is now no condemnation
judged not guilty, of doing wrong in this nation
for we are those who are in Christ
who live and walk in everlasting life

No longer after the ways of the flesh
but after the ways of the spirit (so fresh)
so breathe this breath as we stay clean
and reflect what it means in John 3:18

So let us all believe and let us have faith
I pray we are elected to be blessed with grace
be the salt and light watch the darkness escape
and the flavorless have no favor or taste

Because of Jesus’ death on our behalf,
we will never be condemned or take a sinful bath
Finally, we have this precious promise of God
from Romans 8:38-39, now we belong

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present condition
nor the future, nor any powers, neither height
nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,

will be able to separate us from what we lacked before
By the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
